Xing Qiuhen, solid rocket motor expert, was born in Zhejiang province in 1930. In 1957, he graduated from the PLA military engineering Institute, and in 2003 he was elected as a fellow of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He was the former aerospace industry Research Institute Director, Dean, second Director of the Chinese society of Astronautics, and a researcher of the Institute of the China Aerospace Science and Technology. He mainly engaged in research on solid rocket motor technology, and his achievements include: engine design studies, raised overall optimal design method and advance research results integrated presentation technology.
Lu Tan, was born in 1932 in Jiangsu Province. In 1957 he graduated from the Physics Department of Beijing University. On July of 2003, he was called to go into the Purple Mountain Observatory, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and in November of the same year he was elected as an academician. In 2004, he became Chinese physics gravitational and Relativistic Astrophysics Division director, whose main areas of research was in high-energy astrophysics and cosmology, in particular the gamma-ray burst.
Yu Junchong, was born in December 1940 in Jiangsu Province. He became a communist Party member, senior engineer of China Nuclear Power Institute of Fellows, doctoral supervisor. In 2009 he was elected as academician of Chinese Academy of engineering. In July 1965, he graduated from Nanjing Institute of Nuclear Power Engineering. As a nuclear power expert, he has been engaged in nuclear reactor engineering design and development, nuclear reactor thermal hydraulic and nuclear safety.
Liao Zhenpeng, was born in 1937, in Sichuan province. He is professor of Harbin Engineering University, China Seismological Bureau of Engineering Mechanics Institute, doctoral supervisor (CV). He works in wave theory and earthquake engineering research and teaching. He engaged in seismic risk assessment in the field of earthquake engineering, earthquake seismology and structural dynamics research, and synthesized research results work for promoting seismic safety evaluation and seismic micro zoning.
, was born in July 1943. Academician of Chinese Academy of engineering, national young experts without standing contributions, "model worker of China shipbuilding industry Corporation".Research fields: submersibles and deep ocean resources development system design; intelligent underwater robots; the maneuverability of submarineand submersible; the access to and analysis of hydrodynamic coefficients oftrials, design of the rudder and maneuver ability analysis in special circumstances.
Sun Yufa, was born in May 1937, academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering. In July 1963, he graduated from Harbin Institute of Technology, and served as Deputy Chief Engineer, Vice President of the nuclear power Institute of China. Engaged in nuclear reactor engineering design and research, he has made outstanding contributions in reactor engineering and development.
Yang Shie, was born in Tianjin in 1931. His involvement in major research projects is substantial and mainly relates to Underwater Acoustic Engineering. He has also made significant contributions in developing the marine acoustics measuring system and a batch of navy's practice equipment leading international development. His current research interests include sound navigation system, underwater acoustical propagation, acoustical systems and devices.
Wang Zhongqi, professor, A member of Chinese Academy of engineering, specialist of thermal impeller machinery. In nearly 40 years, Prof. Wang published more than 120 papers on many international academic periodicals, composed 3 monographs, including "Theory of Turbo machinery" and "The Three-dimensional Flow Computation of Turbo machinery and it's Basics of Math and Gas Dynamics", nearly 2,000,000 words. In 1993, Prof. Wang was awarded the 2nd Prize of National Natural Science.
Wen Xueyou, an Academician of Chinese Academy of engineering, was born in Zhejiang in 1940. Wen Xueyou is an expert of ship steam turbine. He emphasized on the application of scientific and technological achievements.The steam turbine injection technology succeeds in the steam turbine power plant in China for the first time, and in the late 1980s this technology reached the international advanced level, which has achieved remarkable economic and social benefits, and filled the gaps of research in this country. He was rated as an expert with outstanding contribution to China shipbuilding industry corporation, and was awarded the second annual silver medal for outstanding entrepreneurs.
