    Engineering Cognition Training Program

           The Engineering Cognition course is aimed at first-year students to help them understand and recognize engineering culture and develop a passion for engineering. Students will become acquainted with the modern electromechanical products and obtain a basic knowledge of manufacturing engineering. This course will also promote projects that serve the country, forming a strong engineering ambition, and will stimulate a desire for further study and specialized knowledge.

    Engineering Practice Training Program

           Engineering Practice is a basic course of practical technique. It provides a basic education in manufacturing and modern manufacturing technology for undergraduate students majoring in mechanical engineering and similar programs. Students can learn important techniques and skills, experience the engineering process, cultivate creativity, and improve their engineering abilities through practice.

    This course is made up of 11 teaching modules which include training in turning, locksmith work, milling and planting, metal forming and plastic molding, welding, casting, digital control, non-traditional machinery, process design, control technology, and electronic technology and processes.

    Engineering Comprehensive Training Program

           The Engineering Comprehensive Course is a special practice course which runs from the 5th to the 8th term and focuses on port, channel, and coastal projects, machine design and its automation, material science and engineering, material physics, industrial design, electronic information projects, correspondence projects, information antagonizing techniques, microelectronics, among other fields. There are 80 classes in total.

           The engineering course uses topical teaching methods to guide the students to use their knowledge in combination with practical skills. Under the guidance of a teacher, students will develop a scientific research topic, design the research plan, carry out the research, and write a thesis. This process will train and strengthen students' abilities of innovation, cooperation, scientific thesis writing, and language expression. Due to the fact that this course replicates the process of developing a research project, it successfully prepares students to take responsible roles in professional work environments.
