    Electronic and Information Engineering (Undergraduate Program)

    Training Aim: The aim of this Program is to build up solid theoretical basis and specialty knowledge, good practice capability, innovative consciousness, social adaptive ability and team work spirit. The students should be able to be engaged in researching, designing, manufacturing, application and development of various electronic equipments and information systems. 

    Training Requirement: Students of this Program mainly study the professional knowledge of obtaining and processing signals, electronic equipment and information system; receive basic training of electronic information engineering practice; possess basic capability of designing, development, application and integration of electronic equipment and information system.
    The students of this Program are expected to have the following knowledge and abilities:

    Systematically mastering basic theoretic knowledge;

    Mastering professional theory of electronic technology and experiment skills, possessing capabilities of analyzing, designing and application of electronic equipment;

    Mastering basic theory of obtaining and processing of signal and information;

    Mastering the basic methods of document retrieval and literature search, keep abreast of current theory and developing trends of electronic equipments.

    Electronic and Information Science and Technology (Undergraduate Program)

    Training Aim: The aim of this Program is to build up solid mathematical basis and specialty knowledge, good practice capability, innovative consciousness, social adaptive ability and team work spirit. They should be able to be engaged in researching, teaching, developing, product designing and managing work in electronic information science and technology, computer science and technology, relevant fields and administrative departments.
    Training Requirements: Students of this Program mainly study basic theories of electronic information science and technology, accept training of scientific experiment and thinking; undertake training of basic theories and experimental skills in mathematics and physics.

    The students of this Program are expected to have the following knowledge and abilities:

    Possessing solid basic theoretic and knowledge of mathematics and physics;

    Mastering basic theories and skills of electronic science and technology, computer science and technology;

    Possessing good experimental skills and initial professional research ability;

    Knowing general knowledge of close specialties, possessing basic capability of interdisciplinary research and development;

    Mastering the basic methods of document retrieval and literature search, keeping abreast of current theory and developing trends of electronic science and technology.

    Signal and Information Processing (Postgraduate Program)

    Introduction: There are 16 professors and 3 associate professors, 4 doctoral advisors and 15 master's advisors in the discipline. The discipline was granted the right of conferring master's of engineering degrees in 1986. During the '10th Five-year Plan', the faculty developed research of non-linear information signal processing and visual image recognition especially in morphology filter and stack filter technology. Master students will conduct research in these fields to accumulate skills. In recent years, over 50 papers have been published in journals and conferences and over 30 papers were listed by SCI, EI and ISTP. More than 30 projects of national and ministry level and 18 projects of industry sectors were undertaken. One project was awarded with a second class prize, and one for a third class prize of Heilongjiang province the Science and Technology Progress. There is much information processing equipment and many development instruments in the labs, and many promising young professors working at the top of their research areas.

    Communication and Information System (Postgraduate Program)

    Introduction: This Program awards master's degrees. There are 20 professors and 9 associate professors, 5 doctor advisers and 24 master advisers. The Program was granted the right of conferring master's of engineering in 1989. This discipline is ranked at a world level in super-wide band information systems, and ranked first in modern communication and information system in north-east <?xml:namespace prefix="st1">China. Now there are more than 300 master students. More than 200 papers have been published and over 50 were listed by SCI, EI and ISTP; 55 projects of national and ministry levels and 26 projects of industry sectors were undertaken. 2 projects were awarded with second class prizes, and 1 for third class of the Science and Technology Progress of provincial level. The College has a super-wide information system lab, communication system lab center, virtual lab, at an establishment cost 800,000 RMB.
