    Master in Communication and Information Systems

    Introduction: This Program awards master degrees. There are 20 professors and 9 associate professors. This discipline was ranked among the world level in super-wide band information systems, ranked first in modern communication and information systems in northeast <?xml:namespace prefix="st1">China. Now there are more than 300 master students studying. More than 200 papers have been published and over 50 were listed by SCI, EI and ISTP; 55 projects of national and ministry level and 26 projects of industry sectors have been undertaken. 2 projects have been awarded with second class prizes, and 1 for third class of the Science and Technology Progress of provincial level. The College has super-wide information system lab, communication system lab center, virtual lab, at establishment cost 800,000 RMB. This Program is also open for international students.

    Master in

     Electromagnetic Field and Microwave Technology

    Introduction: There are 7 professors and 1 associate professor. The Program is under the Electrical Science and Technology Discipline. The Program offers fundamental knowledge of remote communication, high frequency communication and electromagnetism compatibility. Many new technologies are also on the basis of electromagnetic field and microwave technology, such as: radar, mobile communication, microwave remote sensing, electrical antagonize, intellect antenna, ray and microwave interaction. This subject is widely applied in spaceflight, national defense and economy. In order to cultivate high level theory researchers and engineers, the discipline is pursuing international developing activities, improving applications of electromagnetic field and microwave technology.

    Master in Optical Engineering

    Introduction: There are 3 professors for this Program. Though the MEng Program was established only in 1996, within a short period, it has become one of the main teaching and researching bases of China, and is the single research base on fiber technology in Northeast China. In recent years, fiber transmission theory, fiber apparatus and fiber sensors have been under development here. The faculty unit enjoys several national defense pre-research funds and other funds. Simultaneously the faculty unit bears the responsibility of cultivating high-level intellects and teaching and research in fiber technology. 5 projects of national and ministry level and 2 projects of industry sectors are undertaken, and several breakthroughs have been achieved in these years. Over 30 papers are published in important journals and conferences such as Electrical Journal, Communication Journal, Optical Journal and Acoustics Journal, etc. 7 papers have been indexed by SCI, EI, ISTP. 2 academic books had been published and a research group has come into being.

    Master in Signal and Information Processing

    Introduction: There are 16 professors and 3 associate professors in the discipline. The Program was granted the right of conferring MEng in 1986. During the '10th Five-year Plan', the faculty developed research of non-linear information signal processing and visual image recognition, especially in morphology filter and stack filter technology. Master students will conduct researching in these fields, to accumulate skills. In recent years, over 50 papers are published in journals and conferences and over 30 papers were listed by SCI, EI and ISTP. More than 30 projects of national and ministry level and 18 projects of industry sectors are undertaken. 1 project are awarded with second class prize, and 1 for third class prize of Heilongjiang province the Science and Technology Progress. There are many of information processing equipment and development instruments in the labs, and many young promising teachers in the frontline of research work. The classes of this Program can be lectured in English.

    Introduction: We are committed to train and educate senior professionals, who master fundamental theories and knowledge modern communication system and communication network, information transmission and processing system, and grasp the methods of design, manufacture and debug, can conduct research, design and manufacture and operation analysis on modern communication system, communication network, information transmission and processing systems, and also do R&D using the new techniques in the field of communication.

    Bachelor in Electronic and Information Engineering

    Introduction: We are committed to train and educate senior professionals, who master fundamental knowledge of electronic technology and information systems, and can do research, design, manufacture and developing of all kinds of electronic devices and information systems. This Program introduces theories and technologies of electronic circuit, electromagnetic fields, microwave, signal and information processing technology, computer technology and application, and information systems. This Program is also open for international students.

    Bachelor in Infomation Countermeasure Technology

    Introduction: We are committed to train and educate senior professionals, who master the knowledge of attack and defense information system and decision supporting system, and can make use of the newest techniques in the fields of satellite, radar, guidance, communication and electronic countermeasure. The Program mainly introduces fundamental knowledge of modern electronic engineering system, communication system, computer network, methods of information transmission and processing; the technology of protecting and countering in computer network, radar, communication, missile guidance, and photoelectric technique. In addition, the students receive training in designing electronic engineering systems and development and application of computer systems.

    Graduates' career prospects: The graduates can do research and design of information warfare arm systems in national research institutes, universities and colleges, information industry and army.

    Bachelor in Microelectronics

    Introduction: We are committed to train and educate senior professionals, who master fundamental knowledge and experimental skills of micro-electronics. They can do scientific research, teaching, scientific development, engineering technology, production management and administration in micro-electronics and its related fields. The Program mainly introduces basic theories and methods of micro-electronics, and electronic information, communication, computer and optoelectronics. Simultaneously, the good gasp mathematics, physics and foreign language are necessary.

    master design methods and manufacture technology of integrated circuit systems and other jumped-up semiconductor components;

    learn electronic information technology and computer technology;
