    Theater:

        The huge two-story Qihang Theater has hosted a variety of major activities such as performances, singing contests, debate contests, parties, open forums, special and specific lectures and speeches.  

    How to get there?

        It is located in the Qihang Student Center complex.

    Major City Attractions:

    Central Street

    Harbin's Central Street is the longest pedestrian street in Asia and was built in 1898. The old street has a long history and continues to thrive as the most prosperous business street in Harbin today.

    Central Street begins at the Flood Control Monument tower which was constructed in honor of those who prevented disastrous floods in Harbin. Its width is 21.34 meters and its length is 1450 meters; it is widely considered to be the best street in Harbin. It is famous for architecture of unique European style, as seen in the Hagia Sophia Church. The Hagia Sophia Church is one of the most beautiful structures in Harbin. The street also has numerous commercial buildings filled with shoppers.

    Central Street is a highlight of Harbin, and any visitor to the city must not miss a stroll along its cobblestone pavement 

    How to get there: Take Bus No.53 to the Central Street station (Zhong Yang Da Jie) or take a taxi.

    Sun Island

    Sun Island Scenic Area, located on the north shore of the Songhua River near the urban area of Harbin, is a large comprehensive cultural park for rest and recreation. With an area of 98 hectares, green area of 74 hectares and water area of 5.6 hectares, the developed area of the island is now close to 20 square kilometers and there are more than 20 scenic spots in the park.

    Harbin Sun Island Park once was holiday resort of leisure for foreign nationals prior to Chinese revolution of 1949, and there are still many examples of foreign architecture in various styles throughout the park; after the founding of the PRC and many years of construction, Sun Island Scenic Area has became a health resort integrating tourism and summer recreation.

    How to get there:

           First, take a taxi or Bus No.65 to the Flood Prevention Monument, then take a boat to the north shore of the Songhua River.

    Harbin Polarland

    Harbin Polarland is the first polar amusement park in the world. It is one of the four major scenic spots of the Harbin International Ice and Snow Festival. It is a national AAAA level scenic spot of uniquely themed entertainment attractions in China.

    "Polar Whale Performers" expertly show the most famous polar animals stars with seven themed performances. There is a unique polar beluga subaqueous show including the top two female animal trainers inChina. They work together create a world-touching legend-The Heart of the Ocean! The little Antarctic penguin Mumble who was the world's first penguin born in an inland city is a happy angel. He also is Harbin's mascot. The funniest polar bear brothers Tangji and Hede, along with magic star sea lion Billy and his superstar team, present visitors with a fantastic polar performance!
