On April 15, 2024, Professor Мосяков Дмитрий Валентинович, Director of the Center for Southeast Asian, Australian, and Pacific Studies at the Institute of Oriental Studies, Russian Academy of Sciences, visited the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at HEU for an academic exchange. The School signed a cooperation agreement with the Center, aiming to enhance collaboration on research publications, academic exchanges, talent recruitment, and other initiatives. CUI Bin, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, ZHENG Li, Dean of the School, DING Xin, Deputy Director of HEU’s International Office, along with YANG Guoqing and HOU Bowen, Vice Deans of the School, and faculty representatives attended the signing ceremony, chaired by LIU Jiu, Assistant to the Dean.

Prof. ZHENG Li, the Dean of School of Humanities and Social Sciences at HEU and Prof. Мосяков Дмитрий Валентинович signed the cooperation agreement.

The Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, which had been founded in 1818, is the most influential regional and national comprehensive research institution of Oriental studies and Asia-Pacific and North Africa under the system of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
