Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering Alliance was Established

On Jan. 10, the “Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering Alliance”, including the 6th Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering Alliance Appraisal Team of State Council, and 14 universities, were officially established.
The alliance is committed to display the talent cultivation advantages of each university, and cultivate senior innovated engineering professionals for the industries, which can enhance the competence of the discipline and quicken the development of the industries. The universities in the alliance will enhance cooperation in talent cultivation, R&Ds, academic exchanges and resource sharing.
The 14 universities in the alliance include: Dalian Maritime University, Dalian University of Technology, Guangdong Ocean University, Harbin Engineering University, Chinese People's Liberation Army Naval Engineering University, South China University of Technology, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, JiMei University, Jiangsu University of Science And Technology, Ningbo University, Tianjin University, Wuhan University of Technology, Northwestern Polytechnical University, and Ocean University of China.
The alliance is non-profit, non-legalperson university alliance, which is established through over one-year communication and negotiation, on the base of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering Appraisal Team and the universities in the area. The alliance will act as a communication and coordination platform with the objectives of demonstrating advantages, promoting resource sharing, enhancing innovation and cooperation, and promoting talent cultivation.
