New Year Greetings By China’s 36th Antarctic Expedition

On December 27, 2019, China’s 36th Antarctic Exploration team sent greetings to all the teachers and students of the school, having warm wishes and deep gratitude.


The 36th Antarctic Expedition “Xuelong 2” set sail from Shenzhen on October 15. While, “Xuelong” embarked from Shanghai on October 22. China has opened up the new era of Polar Exploration of “Double Dragon.” Presently, the investigation team has successfully completed the first stage unloading task of Zhongshan Cite. Both ships would conduct Marine scientific investigation as planned. The team said that these achievements could not been possible without the support and great help of HEU. In the new year, guided by the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the research team will collaborate with HEU. Hence, “understanding, protecting and utilizing the Antarctic.” Subsequently, making new historical contributions in the building up of a strong Maritime power.
