The Joint Innovation and Development Center for Advanced Acoustic Testing and Noise Reduction Technology built by HEU and AVIC Aerodynaiviics Research Institute

On June 6, the signing and opening ceremony of The Joint Innovation and Development Center for Advanced Acoustic Testing and Noise Reduction Technology built by HEU and AVIC Aerodynaiviics Research Institute was completed in HEU.

 


The two parties set up a fund to support the center which will focus on the needs and development trends of acoustic research in the fields of aerospace vehicles and marine ships. The center will carry out exploratory and innovative research and build an international advanced acoustic innovation platform.

 

Yuan Li, Dean of AVIC Aerodynaiviics Research Institute, and 18 other people came to HEU to sign the cooperation agreement. President Yao Yu attended the signing ceremony, and vice president Yin Jingwei presided over the ceremony.

Yao Yu said in his speech that HEU and AVIC Aerodynaiviics Research Institute have a good foundation for cooperation in scientific research and personnel training.

 


The two parties established a joint innovation and development center for advanced acoustic testing and noise reduction technology, which is somewhat of a milestone for deepening school-enterprise cooperation and promoting the development of the industry.

 

The two parties will open up the innovation chain from scientific discovery to technological invention to achievement transformation in the field of acoustics through openness and sharing.

 

The two parties will also build an international collaborative innovation circle in the field of acoustics. They will release the open-ended project of Open list to be charged to the world to support high-level innovation in the field of acoustics, and build an international-level acoustics research and innovation center.

 

Yuan Li briefly introduced the historical evolution and development layout of AVIC Aerodynaiviics Research Institute.

He said that the two sides have complementary advantages in noise technology research.

 


HEU has advantages in disciplines, teachers, talents, as well as potential for technological innovation, which is conducive to promoting the technological innovation of AVIC Aerodynaiviics Research Institute. AVIC Aerodynaiviics Research Institute has established an international level acoustic wind tunnel system in the field of aerodynamic noise. AVIC Aerodynaiviics Research Institute has broken through wind tunnel test technologies such as airframe aerodynamic noise.

 

The fruit of AVIC Aerodynaiviics Research Institute will be conducive to building a platform for relevant scientific research and training for HEU students and teachers. It will also promote HEU noise technology research, and improve the quality of talent training, scientific research, and innovation capabilities of HEU.
