The opening ceremony of the 2022 Sino-Russian innovative talent training pilot class

 

On the morning of September 12, the opening ceremony of the 2022 Sino-Russian Innovative Talents Training Pilot Class was held in the Academic Lecture Hall of the Qihang Activity Center. Assistant Principal Zhao Yuxin attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.

 

Ms. Satarlkina, assistant Principal of Peter the Great Saint-Petersburg Polytechnic University, a Russian partner university, and Prof. Kirill Rodevsky, vice-president of St. Petersburg State Marine Technical University, delivered video speeches.

 

Zhao Yuxin first extended warm welcome and congratulations to the 50 students who were successfully selected into the Sino-Russian class. He said that the Sino-Russian Innovation Class is an indication that the Sino-Russian relations have entered a new era.

 

By building a talent training model of talent co-education, platform co-integration, and technology co-creation, the class aims to mutually guide students as pioneers. The class urgently needed by the country to cultivate a group of top innovative talents dedicated to Sino-Russian exchanges and cooperation as well as national needs of construction and development.

 

Ms. Satalkina stated in her speech that Peter the Great Saint-Petersburg Polytechnic University has achieved many brilliant achievements in the history of science and education, ranking among the forefront of Russian science and technology universities in many fields. The university has also established a good cooperative relationship with China. She welcomes all the students to complete their studies at Peter the Great Saint-Petersburg Polytechnic University and wishes them all the best.

 

In his speech, Professor Kirill Rodjewski extended a warm welcome to the students participating in the joint training program. He said that the Sino-Russian innovation class was held at the right time, and the two universities have enjoyed many years of friendship and extensive cooperation in the fields of shipbuilding and marine engineering. He was also looking forward to meeting the students in the beautiful city of St. Petersburg, and wished everyone a better achievement in study and life.
