On January 17, the list of members of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) was announced. Professor Zhang Aman of HEU was elected as a member of the 14th CPPCC National Committee.

Zhang Aman was born in Wuning, Jiangxi Province in March 1981. He is the head of national science and technology innovation team, professor of College of Shipbuilding Engineering of HEU, secretary-general of the Secretariat of the Science and Technology Association, and doctoral supervisor. He is currently a member of the 13th Heilongjiang Provincial Committee of CPPCC and vice president of the 5th Heilongjiang Provincial Knowledge Association.

Professor Zhang has been engaged in scientific research on underwater explosion, bubble dynamics, fluid-solid coupling dynamics for a long time. He has been selected as one of the top 2% top scientists in the world and highly cited scholars in China. Professor Zhang, as one of the representatives of 35 scientists in China, attended the  scientists symposium chaired by President Xi Jinping on September 11, 2020.
