From April 3rd to April 4th, the 9th International Scientific Practice Seminar jointly organized by the Southern Normal University and the school of Ukraine was successfully held. Scholars from domestic and foreign universities such as Southern Normal University of Ukraine, National University of Humanities of Ukraine, Heihe College, and HEU, participated in the conference through a combination of online and offline methods. They conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges on topics such as international Chinese language teaching methods and methods, corpus research and construction, language service technology innovation and application, translation talent cultivation, translation research, and the translation and dissemination of Chinese culture.

The theme of this conference is "Linguistic Realistic Issues and  the Vocational Training of Professional Talent in a Multicultural Background". The conference was jointly organized by the Confucius Institute of Southern Normal University of Ukraine, the Department of Translation Theory and applied linguistics, and the Translation Research Center of the Foreign Language School of Harbin Engineering University.

The successful hosting of the conference has been recognized and praised by foreign units and experts such as the Ukrainian National Higher Education Quality Assurance Agency and the Southern Normal University of Ukraine. In the future, we will continue to strengthen communication and engage in cooperation and discussion on issues such as linguistic research, language education and talent cultivation, cutting-edge technology and innovation in the field of translation.

This conference has also enhanced the domestic and international academic reputation of our foreign language school, creating favorable conditions for further expanding and deepening research capabilities and improving the quality of talent cultivation.
