The first annual academic meeting of the National Key Laboratory of Underwater Acoustic Technology was held in HEU on April 28th. More than 20 experts and scholars, including Academician of CAE, Professor Yang Desen of HEU, Academician of the CAS, Professor RUI Xiaoting of Nanjing University of Science and Technology, Vice President YIN Jingwei, and members of the academic committee of the laboratory attended the meeting.

Academician YANG Desen, Director of the Academic Committee of the Key Laboratory, stated that the establishment of the National Key Laboratory of Underwater Acoustic Technology is a fundamental project to accelerate the realization of high-level scientific and technological self-reliance, and an important supporting force to race to control the commanding point.

QIAO Gang, Director of the Key Laboratory and Dean of College of Underwater Acoustic Engineering, made the 2022 Work Report of the National Key Laboratory of Underwater Acoustic Technology. A summary of the main work of the laboratory over the past year has been provided, and the next step work plan for the laboratory has been provided too.

The members of the Academic Committee conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges on the technical exchange and achievements, development planning and latest research trends, laboratory construction and management of the laboratory. In order to promote the better development of laboratory work and the continuous improvement of laboratory construction level, the members of the Academic Committee put forward constructive opinions and suggestions.
