On May 10th, the signing ceremony of the joint training agreement for graduate students between HEU and System Engineering Research Institute of China State Shipbuilding Corporation was held in HEU. YANG Qing, Vice President of System Engineering Research Institute of China State Shipbuilding Corporation, and YU Zhiwen, Vice President of HEU, attended the signing and opening ceremony.

YU Zhiwen expressed gratitude to the System Engineering Research Institute for its long-term support and help to HEU. He briefly introduced the history of the HEU, the administrative characteristics, and other information. He pointed out that the System Engineering research Institute has made great contributions to the building of China’s maritime power with its outstanding scientific and technological innovation and talent training. He hopes to take the joint training of graduates as an opportunity to further promote the cooperation in the field of joint talent training.

YANG Qing fully affirmed the HEU’s achievements in personnel training and scientific research, and its long-term continuous delivery of high-quality underwater acoustic talent to the Systems Engineering Research Institute. He expressed that the Institute and the College of Underwater Acoustics of HEU have a profound career foundation. He hoped that both sides could further strengthen their mission responsibility, meet the major strategic needs of the country, train outstanding engineers as the goal, and create first-class scientific and technological achievements. 

The two sides signed an agreement on joint training of graduate students for university-enterprise cooperation from HEU-China State Shipbuilding Corporation System Engineering Research Institute.
