On May 17th, WANG Weiqun, the director of the Intellectual Property Office of Heilongjiang Province, and a group of four came to HEU to present medals to the first Heilongjiang Province Patent Award-winning project. Vice President YIN Jingwei and WANG Weiqun had a discussion and jointly unveiled the first Heilongjiang Intellectual Property Operation Center for Marine Engineering Industry established by a university in the province.
YIN Jingwei expressed gratitude to the Heilongjiang Provincial Intellectual Property Office for its guidance, concern, and strong support for HEU's intellectual property work during the symposium. He briefly introduced the historical development and evolution of the school, as well as the operational characteristics of ‘Shipbuilding Industry, Marine Equipment, Ocean Exploration and Nuclear Application’ and the achievements of HEU's property work in recent years.
He stated that HEU will take advantage of the characteristic systematic education of "Shipbuilding Industry, Marine Equipment, Ocean Exploration and Nuclear Application", further strengthen the deep integration of advantageous disciplines and industrial development, and form a distinctive intellectual property system of HEU. This will help to realize greater achievements and make greater contributions in serving enterprises in Heilongjiang province to solve technical problems and meet with technological needs.
WANG Weiqun affirmed the achievements of HEU's intellectual property work in recent years. He said that the Provincial Intellectual Property Office will continue to fully cooperate with HEU, participate into the construction of the intellectual property operation center for the marine engineering industry and promote the market-oriented operation of intellectual property in the upstream, midstream, and downstream industries of marine engineering. The Provincial Intellectual Property Office will also help to improve HEU's intellectual property management system, promote the construction of national intellectual property pilot universities, and effectively enhance the level of service for the economic and social development of Heilongjiang.
