On June 28th, the Heilongjiang Province University Alliance of Sino-Foreign Joint Education, led by HEU, was established. Thirty-one universities in Heilongjiang Province, including Harbin Institute of Technology, Northeast Forestry University, and Northeast Agricultural University, became the first members of the alliance. The main goal of the Alliance is to create an exchange platform and promote cooperation, resource sharing, and mutual benefits among universities in the province in the field of Sino-Foreign joint education. Additionally, the Alliance aims to collaborate in establishing the "Heilongjiang Brand" for Sino-Foreign joint education.

The conference was attended by AN Yan, Deputy Secretary General of the China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE), and YU Zhiwen, Vice President of HEU. Both delivered speeches during the event. During his speech, Yu Zhiwen provided a brief overview of HEU's historical development, disciplinary characteristics, and highlighted the achievements in international cooperation, exchange, and Sino-Foreign joint education. He expressed his hope for the Alliance members to work together towards coordinated development and promote the high-quality growth of joint education in Heilongjiang Province. Furthermore, he emphasized the importance of the members' contribution in terms of talent and intellectual support for the comprehensive revitalization of Heilongjiang Province, as well as their joint effort in building the province as a new center for northern opening up and foreign exchange.

AN Yan introduced the CEAIE's support for international education exchange and Sino-Foreign joint education. He praised HEU for its leading role in establishing the Alliance and its contribution to the field of Sino-Foreign joint education. He expressed his hope that universities in Heilongjiang Province would utilize the Alliance to create an exchange platform, promote resource sharing, and facilitate coordinated development.
