On August 6th, Harbin Engineering University hosted a prestigious forum led by the dean of control disciplines. The forum encompassed a wide range of topics related to construction and strategic thinking. These topics included the evolution of control disciplines in the era of intelligence, innovative approaches to talent development, effective faculty education, interdisciplinary integration, and curriculum enhancement.

Furthermore, the event placed a significant emphasis on comprehending the current state and challenges within the field of control discipline. A thorough analysis of its future trajectory and orientation was also conducted. Esteemed deans specializing in control disciplines from several top-tier Chinese universities, such as Tsinghua University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Beihang University, Beijing Institute of Technology, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Central South University, and China University of Geosciences, actively participated by delivering invited lectures.

Zhao Yuxin, the assistant president of Harbin Engineering University and dean of the School of Intelligence, chaired the meeting. He delivered a concise overview of the School of Intelligence's multifaceted development, encompassing discipline establishment, faculty composition, talent cultivation, scientific research, and international collaborations. Additionally, he extended a warm welcome to the present deans and experts.
