The 2023 "Outstanding Young Scientists" search initiative, sponsored by China Youth Daily and the Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League, has concluded. This event identified 10 individuals as "Distinguished Young Scientists" and recognized 40 others as "Nominated Distinguished Young Scientists."
Liu Yizuo
Liu Hongzuo, a professor and doctoral supervisor at Harbin Engineering University, has earned numerous accolades throughout his career. He holds titles such as a nationally recognized young talent, a distinguished teaching figure in Heilongjiang Province, and a notable emerging leader in the province. Currently, he serves as the deputy director of the National Key Laboratory of Underwater Acoustic Technology and holds the position of deputy dean at the Southampton Ocean Engineering Joint Institute within Harbin Engineering University. Additionally, Liu Hongzuo is actively involved as the deputy director of the Youth Working Committee of the China Shipbuilding Engineering Society.
Furthermore, he holds membership in both the China Young Science and Technology Workers Association and the Heilongjiang Young Science and Technology Workers Association, the latter of which he serves as the vice president.
