The Heilongjiang Provincial Department of Education recently bestowed the title of "Advanced Collective in Teacher Morality" upon the National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center of Electrical and Electronics within the College of Information and Communication Engineering at the university. Additionally, the title of "Advanced Individual in Teacher Morality" was awarded to Yang Piaoping of the School of Materials Science and Chemical Engineering.

Leveraging her extensive background in teaching and scientific research spanning over two decades, Professor Yang Piaoping has dedicated herself to imparting her wealth of cutting-edge scientific knowledge, research methodologies, and empirical approaches to her students. This commitment has played a pivotal role in inspiring her students to attain a multitude of innovative accomplishments and contribute to the cultivation of talent.

In recent years, Professor Yang has guided more than ten students who have garnered national scholarships and received awards at the provincial and ministerial levels. The majority of her graduates have found employment in domestic scientific research institutions and universities, proactively engaging in vital industries essential for the nation.
