The self-developed unmanned intelligent car made its debut at the 2023 Harbin Engineering University Sports Meeting, leading the formation and undergoing inspection with the glittering characters "HEU" and "70" on 186 self-made circuit boards.

This innovative creation is a unique and romantic gift from LI Ye, a 2023 graduate of the College of Intelligent Systems Science and Engineering, to his alma mater. Throughout his four years of undergraduate studies, LI Ye delved into groundbreaking research on bionic robots, gaining recognition when his creation, "Xiao Cheng" (Little Orange), was featured three times on CCTV's News Broadcast. His outstanding achievements in scientific and technological innovation earned him the 2023 CHEN Geng Scholarship for Innovation and a place on the Graduation Honor Roll as an "Innovation Star," establishing him as a double-qualified "scientific and technological innovation talent."

LI Ye's graduation project, the intelligent car, underwent thorough inspection by faculty and students across the university. 

The 186 circuit boards, assembled by LI Ye, showcased his technical prowess.

Notably, LI Ye led a scientific and technological innovation team in 2022 to optimize "Xiao Cheng." This involved designing underwater robot vision and mechanical arm operation systems.

LI Ye independently developed and installed a waterproof deep learning camera, enabling underwater target recognition and autonomous operation. All 12 circuit boards inside "Xiao Cheng" were products of LI Ye's independent development.

In addition, LI Ye and his team gained widespread attention when their bionic fish "Xiao Cheng" and six-legged robot were featured on CCTV's News Broadcast in October of this year. The continuous success of "Xiao Cheng," with its ability to swim and walk, highlights LI Ye's dedication to technological innovation and his significant contributions to the field.
