Recently, the finals of both the China International College Students' Innovation Competition (2023) and the 16th National Annual Conference on Undergraduate Innovation were successfully conducted. In the Undergraduate Innovation Competition, HEU achieved remarkable success by securing 2 gold medals and 4 silver medals for its participating projects. Furthermore, at the National Annual Conference on Undergraduate Innovation, HEU clinched 2 Best Creativity Awards and 1 "My Favorite Project Award," marking the university's best performance in recent years.

HEU's triumph in this year's Undergraduate Innovation Competition included an unprecedented achievement of 2 gold medals and 4 silver medals. Notably, the university secured gold medals for the first time in the international project of the main track of colleges and universities. Among these accolades, the mainland project "Magnesium-Feather Technology - New Generation Super Hydrophobic Lightweight Strong Magnesium Lithium Alloy Leader" from HEU's undergraduate creative group claimed the top spot in the gold medal competition, entering the qualifying race. Additionally, the international project "Nahan Tech - Global Intelligent Sensing Imaging Sonar Overclass," recommended by HEU, earned a gold medal.

The 6th National Annual Conference on Undergraduate Innovation, organized by the Expert Working Group of the National Undergraduate Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Program, took place at Hainan University from December 8th to 10th.
