On the afternoon of March 27th, ZENG Zanrong, Secretary of the Qingdao Municipal Party Committee, visited the Harbin Engineering University Qingdao Science and Technology Park for research, accompanied by HEU’s President SONG Yingdong and Vice President YAN Rujian.
During his visit, ZENG Zanrong focused on researching the development of the marine pharmaceutical and bioproduct industry. The Harbin Engineering University Qingdao Science and Technology Park is an innovative hub that integrates functions such as the transformation of scientific and technological achievements and experimental service support. ZENG Zanrong listened to presentations on the park's development and the incubation of marine scientific and technological achievements. He expressed aspirations for the park to further attract research, talent, and industrial resources, promote integration between academia and industry, and accelerate the construction of a demonstration base for the transformation of marine achievements, ultimately serving the development goals of a strong marine nation and province.
Also on March 27th, President SONG Yingdong inspected the development and construction progress of the Qingdao Science and Technology Park. He commended the park's commitment to innovation-driven development and its efforts in promoting industrial upgrading and transformation. SONG Yingdong emphasized the need for the park to advance comprehensive reforms, uphold its mission of serving the transformation of academic achievements, and enhance its role in fostering scientific and technological innovation. He stressed the importance of deepening integration between the educational and technological resources of the university and social resources, increasing the rate of transformation and industrialization of scientific and technological achievements, and seizing opportunities for new quality productivity development.
Following the meeting, SONG Yingdong and his team visited the Qingdao Gutzhenkou Ship Equipment Support Center and the Marine Unmanned Equipment Innovation Base.
