GE Haijiao, Chairman of the Bank of China, along with his team, visited HEU to explore collaboration opportunities between banks and educational institutions, as well as to learn about the school's development. Accompanying the delegation were Vice Governor of Heilongjiang Province WANG Lan, HEU Party Committee Secretary GAO Yan, and Vice President HAN Duanfeng.

The visit commenced with a tour of the Memorial Hall of the PLA Military Institute of Engineering, where GE Haijiao and his team gained insights into HEU's developmental journey and its contributions to China's national defense science and technology. During the visit, GE Haijiao emphasized the crucial role universities play in accelerating the formation of new productive forces. He highlighted the fruitful 20-year collaboration between Bank of China and HEU, emphasizing practical cooperation and tangible outcomes.
