Recently, the award ceremony for China's top honor in intelligent science and technology, the "Wu Wenjun AI Science and Technology Award," and the 2023 China Artificial Intelligence Industry Annual Conference took place in Suzhou Industrial Park. HEU organized the main forum, the Intelligent Systems - Artificial Intelligence President's Forum. Academician LI Deyi, Honorary Chairman of the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence, and Professor YU Zhiwen, HEU’s Vice President, co-chaired the forum. Alongside LIU Chenglin, Vice Chairman of the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence and Vice Director of the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, they led the discussions.

Keynote speeches were delivered by eight vice presidents, including Professor LI Shutao from Hunan University, Professor LV Jinhui from Beihang University, Professor QIAO Junfei from Beijing University of Technology, Professor LIU Ting from Harbin Institute of Technology, Professor YU Zhiwen from HEU, Professor WANG Guoyin from Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Professor MING Dong from Tianjin University, and Professor XU Xiangmin from South China University of Technology. They explored topics such as promoting the coordinated development of cutting-edge AI technology applications and industrial ecology, and the rapid development and practical applications of crucial AI technologies like neuroscience, human-machine systems, cross-media perception, unmanned autonomous systems, natural language processing, and data mining. These discussions aimed to empower new qualitative productivity and inject fresh vitality into China's artificial intelligence development on a global scale.

The "Wu Wenjun AI Science and Technology Award," initiated and organized by the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence, is China's only science and technology award in the intelligent science and technology field named after Mr. Wu Wenjun. He was a pioneering scientist, a leader in artificial intelligence research, the inaugural winner of the National Highest Science and Technology Award, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the former honorary chairman of the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence. This award, established by social forces, is renowned as the "highest honor for intelligent science and technology in China."
