The Team led by GUAN Yejun, Director of the Talent Development Bureau of the Hainan Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Talent Office of the Provincial Party Committee, visited HEU for research and discussion

On April 22nd, GUAN Yejun, Director of the Talent Development Bureau of the Hainan Provincial Party Committee, along with his team, visited HEU for research purposes. During the visit, both parties engaged in detailed discussions regarding enhancing cooperation between the university and Hainan Province, particularly focusing on establishing a talent docking platform. ZHANG Shimei, Deputy Secretary of the HEU Party Committee, participated in the symposium.

ZHANG Shimei provided an overview of HEU's evolution, educational characteristics, and talent cultivation efforts. ZHANG Shimei warmly welcomed GUAN Yejun and his team, expressing gratitude for the support extended by Hainan Province to HEU's operations. Recognizing the crucial role of talent in driving the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port and its innovation-driven development, HEU acknowledged the solid foundation and vast cooperation potential with Hainan Province. ZHANG Shimei also expressed hopes of strengthening cooperation through resource sharing, policy exchanges, and project collaborations, aiming to establish a regularized interactive mechanism and co-create a new chapter in school-local government collaboration.

GUAN Yejun conveyed appreciation to HEU for its support in talent cultivation within Hainan Province. He emphasized the extensive collaboration opportunities between HEU and Hainan's key industries, such as land, sea, and air. Noting the alignment of HEU's top disciplines with the industrial development direction of the Hainan Free Trade Port, he highlighted the solid groundwork for future cooperation and mutual advancement. Guan Yejun expressed a desire to deepen collaboration with HEU, broaden the scope of cooperation, reinforce the convergence and development of school-local government cooperation, and jointly establish a high-level talent exchange and service platform.
