On July 11th, GAO Chiyang, Director of the Heilongjiang Provincial Data Bureau, led a delegation of five members to visit HEU for research purposes. During the visit, they engaged in detailed discussions about the operational status, core technological advantages, and achievements of the National Engineering Laboratory for E-Government Modeling and Simulation. Vice President YAN Rujian of HEU attended the symposium.

YAN Rujian provided a brief overview of HEU's historical evolution, educational characteristics, and disciplinary advancements. He emphasized HEU's progress and achievements in enhancing resource utilization, productization, and assetization of data. YAN Rujian highlighted HEU's commitment to offering quality service and technical support, integrating heterogeneous data through blockchain and distributed technology, and promoting data circulation across departments, regions, and industries. He expressed hope for enhanced collaboration to leverage complementary strengths, advance technological innovation, expand applications in E-government, and contribute significantly to Heilongjiang's digital economy.

GAO Chiyang emphasized that amidst the rapid development of the digital economy, data has become a critical national strategic resource. He acknowledged HEU's innovative contributions in E-government modeling and simulation technology, which play a pivotal role in optimizing data utilization, product development, and driving local economic and social progress.

During their visit, GAO Chiyang and his delegation also toured the National Engineering Laboratory for E-Government Modeling and Simulation, as well as the Historical Exhibition of PLA Harbin Military Institute of Engineering.
