From July 26 to 27, the Development Docking Event for the HEU Alumni-Enterprise Alliance, focused on entering the West Coast New Area, was held at the Qingdao Innovation Development Base.

On the evening of July 26, the alumni meeting featured speeches from GAO Yan, Secretary of the CPC HEU Party Committee, and WANG Qingyuan, District Mayor of the Qingdao West Coast New Area. Over 150 alumni and leaders from the Qingdao Innovation Development Base attended the event.

The main event on July 27 took place at the Jinghai Conference Hall of HEU’s Qingdao Innovation Development Base. Attendees included SONG Mingjie, Vice Mayor of Qingdao; SONG Yingdong, President of HEU; and HAN Duanfeng, Vice President of HEU.

During the event, HAN Duanfeng, WANG Qingyuan, ZHANG Qingyuan, and LIU Wei jointly inaugurated the Global Alumni Development Service Center for the HEU Alumni-Enterprise Alliance.

Notable donations were made to the West Coast New Area by CHEN Xiaobo, Chairman of Shihang Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd.; MA Ye, Co-founder and Director of the Research Institute at Hangzhou IT-Robotics Technology Co., Ltd.; MIAO Keliang, Chairman of Zhuhai Gotech Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd.; and ZHANG Wenqing, General Manager of Haichuang Intelligent Equipment (Yantai) Co., Ltd. These contributions supported advancements in microelectronics, new energy, robotics, and underwater vehicles.

LIU Luying, a member of the Standing Committee of the West Coast New Area Work Committee and Minister of the Organization Department, along with HAN Duanfeng, awarded appointment letters to 11 "West Coast-HEU" Collaborative Development Ambassadors.

Five projects were signed and confirmed, including those from Shenyang Micro Control Flywheel Technology Co., Ltd.; Haichuang Intelligent Equipment (Yantai) Co., Ltd.; Zhuhai Gotech Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd.; Jiangsu Tongliu Aerospace Technology Co., Ltd.; and Shihang Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd.

HAN Duanfeng, who hosted the presentation, expressed his hope that the research outcomes and innovative ideas of alumni entrepreneurs would significantly drive local economic development. He aims to boost the industrial upgrade of Qingdao West Coast New Area while providing a broader platform for HEU's research activities.

Additionally, the HEU Alumni-Enterprise Alliance Work Conference was held, and the "Ocean Stars" Alumni Innovation Enterprise Support Program was officially launched.
