On July 16th, the 10th Annual Academic Meeting of the CMS Biomaterials Professional Committee, hosted by HEU, commenced. The opening ceremony was attended by Vice President YU Zhiwen, CMS Biomedical Mathematics Professional Committee Director Professor XIAO Yanni from Xi'an Jiaotong University, Australian Academy of Sciences Academician Professor DU Yihong from the University of New England, and other distinguished guests. Over 500 experts and scholars from 163 institutions, including Fudan University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Xi'an Jiaotong University, and Hong Kong Polytechnic University, also participated.

In her speech, Professor XIAO Yanni congratulated HEU on hosting the conference and thanked them for their meticulous organization. She encouraged scholars to use this platform to enhance communication, foster cooperation, and explore cutting-edge issues in biological mathematics, contributing to the advancement of the field in China.

Vice President YU Zhiwen, speaking on behalf of HEU, extended a warm welcome to the guests and expressed gratitude to the experts and scholars who support HEU's development. He highlighted the critical role of mathematics as the foundation of science and its significance in driving human progress. YU Zhiwen emphasized HEU's commitment to mathematics and expressed hope that experts would offer valuable insights for the development of HEU's mathematics discipline, wishing the conference success.

During the opening ceremony, Professor LIU Shengqiang, Deputy Director and Secretary General of the Biomedical Mathematics Professional Committee and Tianjin University of Technology, announced the winners of the outstanding paper awards from the 10th Annual Conference Doctoral Forum. Professor XIAO Yanni and YU Zhiwen presented the certificates to the winners.
