From June 1st to 30th, the College of Intelligent Systems Science and Engineering and the College of International Cooperative Education hosted the 3rd International Summer Camp—HEU Intelligent Engineering International Summer Camp. Ten undergraduate students from the University of Edinburgh, Mahidol University, and Chulalongkorn University embarked on a journey to explore intelligent engineering.

The students were introduced to HEU's overview, the talent cultivation programs of the College of International Cooperative Education, as well as scientific research and international exchanges. The National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center for Ship Navigation and Control conducted the professional practical teaching for the camp. During the opening ceremony, teachers, volunteers, and students from the center engaged in interactive and in-depth exchanges, fostering mutual understanding.

The students visited the National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center for Ship Navigation and Control. Award-winning student HAN Dong explained various car models used in the National College Student Intelligent Car Competition, while Professor QI Zhigang demonstrated the semi-physical simulation system for ship control, emphasizing its applications in shipbuilding, marine equipment, ocean exploration, and nuclear technology, along with the Industry 4.0 intelligent production line showcasing cutting-edge technology in intelligent manufacturing.

The College of Intelligent Systems Science and Engineering designed a comprehensive professional practice plan for the camp. Students also participated in traditional Chinese cultural activities, including paper cutting, gourd silk, calligraphy, drama, painting, and tea art. They visited the PLA Military Institute of Engineering Memorial Hall, experienced the unique charm of Harbin and Harbin Engineering University, and learned about China's achievements in the new era.
