The final of the 12th China TRIZ Cup College Student Innovation Method Competition was recently held at Harbin Engineering University (HEU). After intense competition, 20 entries from HEU stood out among 4,397 submissions from 200 universities nationwide. HEU earned a total of 4 first prizes, 3 second prizes, and 13 third prizes. The project titled "Iterative Research and Development of Amphibious Vehicles Guided by TRIZ Theory" won the gold medal with the highest overall score.

The theme of this year’s competition was "Developing New Quality Productivity and Promoting High-Quality Development." Since its official launch in April, the competition has been divided into seven categories: invention and production, process improvement, innovative design, life creativity, entrepreneurship, vocational and technical education, and teacher group promotion and application. Ultimately, 12 projects were selected to advance to the finals.
This competition not only encourages college students to apply the TRIZ theoretical system in their innovative endeavors but also highlights the practical application and transformative potential of their achievements. It plays a crucial role in the comprehensive revitalization of industry through technological innovation. According to statistics released by the organizing committee, 927 entries applied for patents during the competition, while 221 directly addressed the needs of enterprises. The cumulative contract value for achievement transformation reached 43.25 million yuan, including 13 entries that successfully signed agreements with enterprises in Heilongjiang Province, totaling 9.11 million yuan.
