On September 23rd, SU Man, General Manager of Shenzhen Special Economic Zone Jianfa Marine Industry Development Co., Ltd., and WANG Jian, President of the HEU Alumni Association in Shenzhen, visited HEU for a symposium. President SONG Yingdong and Vice President HAN Duanfeng attended the meeting, where both sides engaged in in-depth discussions about collaboration in industry, education, research, and applications in oceanography.

SONG Yingdong highlighted HEU's historical evolution and educational focus, noting that as a specialized university, HEU addresses the nation's urgent needs in shipbuilding, marine equipment, ocean exploration, and nuclear applications.
