From September 24 to 27, the "Huawei Cup," the 6th China Graduate AI Innovation Competition, was held in Harbin. The HEU team achieved remarkable success, winning 8 national first prizes, including the national runner-up award for the "Intelligent Future - Voice Driven Intelligent Robot" project from the College of Intelligent Systems Science and Engineering, along with 3 national second prizes. HEU also received the Harbin Special Award, 1 second prize, and 25 third prizes, ranking first among participating universities in total national first prizes. Additionally, HEU was honored with the Excellent Organization Award.

Key attendees at the opening ceremony included Academician DUAN Guangren from the CAS, Deputy Secretary of the Harbin Municipal Committee of the CPC MA Zhiyong, HEU President SONG Yingdong, Vice President of the Association of Chinese Graduate Education DING Xuemei, and several other officials from various educational and governmental bodies.

President SONG Yingdong emphasized HEU's commitment to fostering graduate students' innovative practical skills by optimizing policies, enhancing competition guidance and training, and building interdisciplinary innovation platforms. Looking ahead, HEU aims to deepen the integration of industry and education, leveraging cutting-edge technology to support the development of artificial intelligence.

Deputy Secretary MA Zhiyong expressed hope that the outstanding teams, experts, and scholars from the competition would collaborate with Harbin in industrial development, local cooperation, talent cultivation, and innovation, working together to create a "community of shared destiny" for talent revitalization and development.
