HEU Achieves Outstanding Results in the Final of the 2024 China International College Students Innovation Competition

From October 12 to 15, the live finals of the 2024 China International College Students Innovation Competition were held at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. After intense competition, HEU won one gold medal and nine silver medals.

Since the competition began in April 2024, HEU has placed great importance on it, actively organizing and preparing diligently. In the regional competition for Heilongjiang Province, the university achieved a substantial breakthrough, winning a total of 38 gold awards, 64 silver awards, and 30 bronze awards. After school preliminary rounds, provincial semi-finals, national recommendations, and online evaluations, ten projects were selected for the finals, setting a historical record for the number of nominees.

The 2024 China International College Students Innovation Competition (formerly the "Internet+" Competition) is jointly sponsored by twelve organizations, including the Ministry of Education and the Shanghai Municipal People's Government. The competition promotes "four new" initiatives under the theme "I Dare to Innovate, I Can Create." A total of 5.14 million projects and 20.836 million students from 153 countries and regions, representing 5,406 universities globally, participated, showcasing international innovative capabilities that unite "hundreds of countries, thousands of schools, and millions of people" from both China and abroad.
