On October 20, 2024, the Financial Street Forum Annual Conference Talent Forum and the annual meeting of the "Beijing Xicheng University Development Alliance" were held in Beijing. Our university, along with Harbin Institute of Technology, Northwestern Polytechnical University, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and Nanjing University of Science and Technology—five universities affiliated with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology—was invited to join the alliance.

The conference centered around the theme "Attracting Talents to the West for Innovative Fusion into the Future." Attendees delivered keynote speeches focusing on four key areas: innovation chains, industrial chains, capital chains, and talent chains. During the event, several targeted support initiatives were announced, including the "Beijing Xicheng University Development Alliance Roadshow Base," the "MIIT Youth Science and Technology Service Corps—Xicheng Future Industries Joint Research Program," and the "Beijing Xicheng University Development Alliance Venture Capital Partners."

The "Beijing Xicheng University Development Alliance" was established in June 2023. The Beijing Xicheng District Committee and Government collaborated with twenty universities, including Peking University and Tsinghua University, to initiate the alliance, leveraging local resources, geographical advantages, and development conditions. The aim is to create a high-level platform for collaborative development between universities and the region, fostering an integrated model of cooperation among government, industry, academia, research, and application. This initiative further promotes the organic integration of regional innovation chains, industrial chains, capital chains, and talent chains.
