On October 29, a delegation led by CANG Yun, Party Secretary of the Jiansanjiang Branch of Beidahuang Group Co., Ltd., visited the university for a survey and symposium. Vice President YAN Rujian also attended the symposium, where both sides engaged in an in-depth discussion on advancing their collaboration.
YAN Rujian emphasized the strong foundation of cooperation and close ties that the university has established with the Jiansanjiang Branch. Looking ahead, the university plans to leverage its research strengths in intelligent control, computer science, big data, communications, and remote sensing. By partnering with the Jiansanjiang Branch, the university aims to share resources, complement each other's strengths, actively cultivate talent, promote scientific research collaboration, and accelerate the transformation and application of high-quality outcomes in the agricultural sector.
CANG Yun provided an overview of the Jiansanjiang Branch, highlighting its role as a pioneer in modern large-scale agriculture. He noted that the branch has extensive agricultural application scenarios, presenting significant potential for collaboration in cutting-edge areas such as smart agriculture, intelligent agricultural machinery, and the low-altitude economy. He expressed hope that by further integrating the advantages of both parties, a long-term, stable, and comprehensive cooperative relationship could be established.
During the meeting, LI Bing, Dean of Harbin Engineering University's Intelligent Agricultural Equipment Industry Innovation Research Institute, discussed the university's advancements in new agricultural productivity. Additionally, YANG Meng, an assistant researcher in Intelligent Science and Engineering at HEU, presented findings on basalt soil conditioners.
