On October 28, the Youth Science and Technology Exchange Activity of the 11th China-Russia Engineering and Technology Forum was held in the Qihang VIP Meeting Room. Over 50 representatives of young scientists and technology professionals from six domestic and international universities gathered to exchange ideas and discuss the theme "Technology Empowerment, Intelligent Manufacturing." YU Zhiwen, Vice President of Harbin Engineering University, and ZHAO Xiaoxi, Vice Chairman of the Guangzhou Association for Science and Technology, delivered opening remarks at the event.
YU Zhiwen highlighted that the exchange activity is designed to leverage the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Russia and the China-Russia Cultural Year. He expressed hope that this event would strengthen ongoing collaborations among participants, contributing to the establishment of a new productivity practice base in Heilongjiang Province and advancing youth science and technology exchanges between the two countries.
ZHAO Xiaoxi noted that through in-depth exchanges, seminars, and field research, the goal is to explore the creation of a cooperation mechanism between the "Innovation China" Youth Hundred-person Assembly in Heilongjiang Province and the Greater Bay Area Youth Hundred-person Assembly. Together, they will address new opportunities and challenges in their respective academic fields, foster mutual friendship through shared learning, and expand avenues for collaboration, promoting the integration of science and technology with economic development.
During the event, six experts from domestic and international universities and research institutes delivered keynote speeches on pressing topics in intelligent manufacturing, including equipment intelligence, smart highways, and data security, engaging in lively discussions and exchanges.
