On November 16, the founding conference of the Nantong Alumni Association of Harbin Engineering University (HEU) took place in Nantong City, Jiangsu Province. Vice President YIN Jingwei attended the event, joined by dozens of alumni and distinguished guests from various regional alumni associations and the Nantong area.
Vice President YIN Jingwei congratulated the alumni on behalf of the university, emphasizing the importance of this new association. LI Zhiwei, newly elected president of the Nantong Alumni Association, expressed his deep sense of responsibility and honor. He pledged to act as a leader in fostering strong connections among alumni and between the alumni and HEU. LI outlined his vision for promoting intellectual collaboration, resource sharing, and mutual support. He committed to enhancing the association’s appeal and unity while contributing to the university’s continued success through tangible efforts.
YE Hui, the honorary president of the Nantong Alumni Association, reaffirmed the association's dedication to strengthening ties between alumni and their alma mater. He encouraged active participation in the association’s initiatives, urging members to balance personal career development with efforts to build a robust alumni network. Ye emphasized leveraging alumni resources to support the university’s contributions to regional economic development.
