On December 3rd, the 22nd "Lee and Li Cup" National College Mock Court Competition, organized by the Law School of Tsinghua University and co-sponsored by the Taiwan Lee and Li Foundation, concluded with impressive results. After a highly competitive event, the team from HEU claimed the national championship with exceptional performance. DU Wenya was recognized with the "Outstanding Debater" award, while KOU Gongzhen earned the title of "Best Debater" for the entire competition. This marks HEU's first victory in the competition since 2011, representing a significant achievement for the institution.

The "Lee and Li Cup" National College Mock Court Competition is one of China's most prestigious college mock court events. Since its inception in 2003, it has been successfully held 22 times. The judging panel consists of renowned legal experts and professionals from both academia and the judicial field. The competition attracts participants from over 40 top law schools in China, with more than 400 students taking part annually.
