On March 26, a delegation led by LI Lingling, Vice President of Zhengzhou University of Aeronautics, visited Harbin Engineering University (HEU) for a research exchange. The discussions centered on faculty development, student employment, and scientific research. YIN Hang, Assistant to the President, also attended the symposium.

YIN Hang emphasized that both universities are industry-focused institutions with unique regional and disciplinary characteristics—one based in the north and the other in the south, one specializing in marine engineering and the other in aviation. He highlighted that both institutions are committed to supporting key national strategies and have considerable potential for cooperation across a wide range of areas. YIN expressed hope that the visit would deepen collaboration in talent development, scientific research, and faculty enhancement, thereby contributing to the continued high-quality development of both universities.

LI Lingling acknowledged that Zhengzhou University of Aeronautics, as the only undergraduate institution in Henan Province specializing in aviation, is undergoing a crucial phase of reform and transformation aimed at high-quality development. She expressed a strong interest in learning from HEU’s best practices and experiences to guide future strategic advancements at Zhengzhou University of Aeronautics.

During the symposium, representatives from HEU's Human Resources Department presented an overview of the university's faculty and personnel initiatives. Both institutions engaged in detailed discussions on talent recruitment and development, performance-based compensation, and the strengthening of academic teams, sharing valuable insights and experiences.
