In Jiamusi, Heilongjiang Province, a research team led by Professor WANG Wei from HEU’s College of Intelligent Systems Science and Engineering conducted performance tests on a seeder equipped with an advanced radar-based speed measurement system. This innovative technology enhances multi-dimensional terrain perception, enabling the seeder to operate with greater precision and uniformity, even in complex farmland conditions.

Heilongjiang Province has adopted a model where enterprises identify challenges, researchers develop solutions, and the market evaluates results. This approach fosters deep integration of technological and industrial innovation. The province is also working to build ecosystems for innovation and entrepreneurship around universities and research institutes, supporting the creation of corporate R&D teams and developing intelligent platforms that strengthen collaboration between industry, academia, and research institutions.

This year, Heilongjiang plans to launch over 200 major research projects in key sectors such as artificial intelligence for modern agriculture and energy equipment. Additionally, the province aims to commercialize more than 650 significant technological achievements, further accelerating innovation-driven growth.
