On April 8, a signing ceremony was held at Chuanhai Building to formalize the strategic cooperation framework agreement between the College of Shipbuilding Engineering and the CET Ocean Energy Engineering Technology Research Institute. Key attendees included YIN Jingwei, Vice President of Harbin Engineering University (HEU), LI Gang, Director of the CET Ocean Energy Engineering Technology Research Institute, and MA Ling, Deputy Director of the institute.
YIN Jingwei welcomed the delegation from the CET Ocean Energy Engineering Technology Research Institute and expressed his gratitude for their ongoing support of the university. He highlighted the institute’s significant achievements in key technological fields, such as offshore wind power equipment, floating photovoltaic systems, and integrated ocean energy utilization. YIN emphasized his hope for collaborative efforts to drive technological breakthroughs and explore new avenues for the sustainable development of the marine economy.
LI Gang remarked that the signing of the strategic cooperation agreement would allow both parties to leverage their respective strengths in talent development and scientific research. This partnership would not only benefit both sides but also set a new standard for university-enterprise collaborations.
NI Baoyu, Dean of the College of Shipbuilding Engineering, and MA Ling, Deputy Director of the CET Ocean Energy Engineering Technology Research Institute, signed the strategic cooperation framework agreement on behalf of their respective institutions.
WANG Chao, Deputy Dean of the College of Shipbuilding Engineering, provided an in-depth overview of the college’s core strengths and research focus areas. Professors SHENG Qihu and ZHENG Xing from the college also shared their research on tidal energy, wave energy, and offshore wind energy.
MA Ling provided an introduction to the CET Ocean Energy Engineering Technology Research Institute, outlining the institute's foundational goals and ongoing research initiatives.
