On May 16, 2025, the annual launch conference of the Chinese Postgraduate Innovation Practice Series Competition and the Innovation Practice Achievement Exchange (2025 Nanjing) was held. Eleven innovative teams from Harbin Engineering University (HEU) showcased their scientific and technological achievements at the event. The conference comprehensively summarized the 2024 competition results and released the annual report, recognizing outstanding institutions and teams. HEU ranked fourth nationally in both total awards and comprehensive contribution.

In 2024, over 2,900 faculty members and students from HEU participated in the competition, marking a 99.3% year-on-year increase in enrollment. The teams secured 161 awards, a 133% rise compared to 2023.

Simultaneously, HEU climbed to fourth place in the national "Innovation Practice Competition" contribution rankings for postgraduate training institutions, highlighting its comprehensive strength and organizational capabilities in scaling, quality, development, and management of the 2024 competition.
