On June 12, a five-member delegation from UCA El Salvador of El Salvador, led by the President Mario Córnejo, visited Harbin Engineering University (HEU). Vice President ZHAO Yuxin met with the visiting guests.

ZHAO Yuxin stated that HEU places high importance on exchanges and cooperation with Salvadoran higher education institutions. As UCA approaches its significant 60th anniversary, he expressed hope that both sides would strengthen communication and mutual understanding, explore more potential collaborative opportunities, and jointly promote the high-quality development of student exchanges, Chinese language education, and scientific research with their Salvadoran counterparts.

Mario Córnejo briefly introduced the basic situation of UCA El Salvador of El Salvador. He expressed hope that the visit would serve as an opportunity to deepen exchanges and cooperation between the two universities in fields such as artificial intelligence, international Chinese language education, and civil engineering. Starting from this, he aims to promote cultural exchange between the two countries and contribute to reaching new heights for educational development in the Central American region.

UCA El Salvador of El Salvador, founded in 1965, is the country's first private higher education institution. Recognized for its academic research and social engagement in the field of social sciences, the university is one of the most influential academic institutions in the region.
