China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) recently announced the list of journals selected for its "China Science and Technology Journal Enhancement Initiative," with the Journal of Intelligent Systems published by Harbin Engineering University(HEU) included among the first group of key supported journals. The project will provide support for three consecutive years, with a total of 195 journals selected.
The "China Science and Technology Journal Enhancement Initiative" aims to select and support a group of society-published science and technology journals that are strategically significant for China's future sci-tech innovation and industrial development, possess high academic standards, and demonstrate strong development potential, thereby cultivating a reserve echelon for the Excellence Action Plan for China's STM Journals.
Co-published by Harbin Engineering University and the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI), the Journal of Intelligent Systems serves as CAAI's official publication. It aims to establish itself as China's most representative and leading Chinese-language academic journal in intelligent science. The journal is indexed by major domestic and international databases including Chinese Science Citation Database (CSCD), Chinese Core Journals, China Science and Technology Core Journals, Scopus (Netherlands), and INSPEC (UK). It ranks in the Q1 zone of the Annual Report for Chinese Academic Journal Impact Factors, is listed in the World Journal Clout Index Report (WJCI), and holds Category A status in "CAAI-Recommended Chinese Academic Journals." Having secured National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) funding for five consecutive years, it is currently a member journal of the Excellence Action Plan for China's STM Journals (Phase II) MIIT Sci-Tech Journal Cluster. Notable honors include Top 100 Chinese Science and Technology Journals, First Prize of Excellent Journals on China Sciencepaper Online, Characteristic Sci-Tech Journal of Chinese Universities, and Excellent Journal of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
