
On June 25, YU Jin, Deputy General Manager of China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC), led a delegation of eight members to Harbin Engineering University (HEU) for a research-focused visit and exchange. The symposium was attended by Party Secretary GAO Yan, who delivered an opening address, and Vice President YIN Jingwei, who chaired the meeting. The discussions centered on enhancing cooperation in education and research, with a focus on integrating scientific and technological innovations with industrial development.

GAO Yan highlighted CNOOC’s leading role as China’s largest offshore oil and gas producer, emphasizing the company's significant contributions to the country’s marine energy sector and its numerous advancements in oil and gas exploration. He also noted that HEU and CNOOC have developed a strong foundation for collaboration in scientific innovation and talent development.

YU Jin reaffirmed CNOOC’s commitment to deepening its partnership with HEU, particularly in the field of ocean engineering. By leveraging their respective strengths and resources, the two organizations aim to advance scientific research, drive technological breakthroughs, and accelerate the practical application of research outcomes, thereby supporting the high-quality development of China’s energy sector.
