TIAN Chuan, Deputy Director of the China Academy of Industrial Internet (CAII), led a delegation to Harbin Engineering University (HEU) for an academic research exchange. HEU Party Secretary GAO Yan attended the symposium, where both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on platform development, the transformation of scientific achievements, and talent cultivation.

GAO Yan expressed appreciation for CAII’s continued support of HEU’s development. He provided a brief overview of the university’s history and its distinctive educational emphasis on “SMON”: shipbuilding, marine equipment, ocean exploration, and nuclear energy applications. He noted that HEU recently established the National Industry-Education Integration Innovation Platform for the Shipbuilding Industrial Internet, which is actively promoting talent development and scientific research in the industrial internet field. GAO emphasized his hope for deeper collaboration between the two institutions in technological innovation, industrial advancement, and workforce development.

Deputy Director TIAN Chuan introduced the history and mission of CAII, emphasizing its role as a leading think tank, a source of technological innovation, a support system for government policy-making, a catalyst for enterprise empowerment, a hub for top-tier talent, and a platform for international cooperation. He expressed a strong interest in leveraging the strengths of both institutions to deepen collaboration in platform construction and research, contributing to the digitalization, networking, and intelligent transformation of industry.
