On July 17, a delegation of 10 led by HE Jingping, Deputy Party Secretary of Northeast Agricultural University (NEAU), visited Harbin Engineering University (HEU). The two sides held in-depth discussions focusing on Party building and cadre/talent development. GAO Yan, HEU's Party Committee Secretary, attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by LI Rongsheng, HEU's Deputy Party Secretary.

GAO Yan extended a warm welcome to HE Jingping and his delegation. He noted that NEAU actively serves the national economy and the forefront of modern agriculture, cultivating large numbers of outstanding talents and providing strong scientific and technological support to accelerate agricultural and rural modernization. GAO Yan expressed the hope that both universities would learn from each other to provide the support for national development.

HE Jingping highlighted HEU's inheritance and promotion of the spirit of the Harbin Military Engineering Institute. He expressed a desire to establish a long-term cooperation mechanism between the two institutions to further deepen collaboration in areas like discipline development and scientific research.

Prior to the meeting, HE Jingping and his delegation visited the Harbin Military Memorial.
