On July 20, the “Harbin Engineering University Sci-Tech Achievements Conference Serving Longjiang’s Industrial Innovation and Development”, guided by the Hei Longjiang Provincial Department of Science and Technology and co-hosted by Harbin Engineering University (HEU) and Hei Longjiang New Industrial Investment Group, was held on campus. The conference theme was “Gathering Strength for Transformation to Foster New Quality Productive Forces: HEU’s Intelligence Leading Longjiang’s New Future”.
Vice Governor ZHANG Qixiang of Hei Longjiang Province expressed in his address that he hopes HEU will firmly grasp the “Three Focus Areas”, continue leveraging its disciplinary and talent advantages, and provide strong momentum for building a modern industrial system and advancing high-quality development in Hei Longjiang.
HEU Party Secretary GAO Yan stated that the institution will continue to meticulously implement the “Five Batches” strategy, deepen industry-academia-research collaboration, empower industrial revitalization through technological innovation, inject stronger scientific momentum into the comprehensive revitalization of Hei Longjiang, and make new, greater contributions to the province’s high-quality economic and social development.
WANG Dong, Chairman of Hei Longjiang New Industrial Investment Group, noted in his speech that the collaboration between HEU and the Group represents a deep integration of technology and capital, serving as a key initiative to drive Longjiang’s industrial innovation. Both parties will jointly build a sci-tech achievement transformation platform, integrate resources, vigorously promote the industrialization of scientific outcomes, and support Longjiang’s economic transformation and upgrading.
