General Manager BI Sheng of China Nuclear Engineering Consulting Co., Ltd. Visits HEU for Research Exchange

On July 18, 2025, BI Sheng, General Manager of China Nuclear Engineering Consulting Co., Ltd. (CNECC), led a four-member delegation on a research visit to Harbin Engineering University (HEU). Vice President ZHAO Yuxin attended the symposium and delivered welcoming remarks.

ZHAO Yuxin delivered a brief overview of the university’s history, educational strengths, and the development of its nuclear science discipline. He stated that HEU has maintained a close strategic partnership with CNECC and the China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC), characterized by mutual complementarity and support in talent development, scientific research, academic exchanges, and expert exchanges. He expressed hope for enhanced collaboration to jointly explore innovative pathways for university-enterprise collaborative training, focus on addressing major national strategic needs, cultivate top-tier nuclear science and technology talent, and make new, greater contributions to national strength building.

BI Sheng acknowledged HEU’s rich cultural heritage and outstanding research strengths. He highlighted the years of close cooperation and joint progress between CNECC and HEU in scientific research and talent development, noting that HEU has supplied CNECC with a large number of reliable and competent graduates. He expressed hope that both sides would continue leveraging their respective advantages in research, talent, platforms, and resources to pursue deeper and higher-level collaboration, providing talent and intellectual support for the high-quality development of China’s nuclear industry.

During the symposium, the two parties engaged in in-depth discussions and exchanges on talent cultivation, research collaboration, and discipline development. Heads of relevant teaching and research units, as well as functional departments, reported on existing cooperative achievements with CNECC and outlined future areas for collaboration.
