The 18th National College Students Social Practice and Science Contest on Energy Saving and Emission Reduction recently concluded with impressive results. The university earned one Grand Prize, five First Prizes in the main competition track, one Gold Award in the industry track, and the Outstanding Organization Award, totaling 19 awards—setting a new record for the university and securing 4th place nationally in overall performance.

Guided by the Teaching Advisory Board for Energy and Power Engineering under China’s Ministry of Education and organized by the National Committee for the Competition, the event focused on the theme “Energy Conservation, Emission Reduction, and Green Energy.”

The competition also recognized the National Outstanding Undergraduate Paper (Designs) in Energy and Power Engineering. Two award-winning projects from the university were:
